Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings
has You ordained strength because of thine enemies,
that You mightiest still the enemy and the avenger.
When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which You has ordained;
what is man, that You are mindful of him?
and the son of man, that You visitest him?
For You has made him (men) a little lower than the angels,
and has crowned him (men) with glory and honour.
You made him (men) dominate the works of your hands;
You has put all things under his feet (men's feet):
all sheep and oxen, yea,
and the beasts of the field;
the fowl of the air,
and the fish of the sea,
and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.
